Hello again

I went home and had a delicious smoothie with:

1 scoop Designer Whey vanilla

Afterwards I had protein oats

1/2 c old fashioned oats

1 c water

1/2 c almond milk

pinch of cinnamon

1 scoop Designer Whey vanilla

my mixins were a bit of peanut butter & trail mix *fruit n’ nut

My lunch was a boring sandwich

Dinner perked up with this

I picked these up last week @ Whole Foods

I cooked up some Ground Buffalo Meat

FF Refried Beans

Lettuce & Tomato

Low Fat Cheese

& Guac (1/2 a wholly guacamole 100 cal pack)

It was a total fiesta

Getting back on track – Take II

Hello All!

Class is over  as of last week. Still waiting for my grade 🙂 Next semester starts April 4th! This past month of no blogging has been extremely crazy. Work has been extremely busy and I have made no time to blog or even read blogs. I have….

  • worked out (minimally)
  • maintained my weight
  • maintained eating habits ( most of the time)

As tax season is coming to an end I have decided I can commit to one post a day. I am very happy to report I have changed gyms and am starting with a personal trainer.

Here she is

First day of training begins on Monday!

I have 2 months until we leave for vacation to get a solid weight training program going.

I will also post about trip planning and other shenanigans!

Back to Blogging

No excuses. Yes I have been busy, work is crazy but no excuse. If you want to blog just like any health and fitness goal you just do it. So I am.

Shenanigans…

I have spent my lil spare time prepping my photo books from last year’s vacations. I am totally in love with Picaboo, so many options with their software. They are a bit pricey but Groupon to the rescue. I have been able to buy $100 GC for $35. Since its nationwide you can buy it from whatever city has availability. Check out http://www.groupongirl.com she does the work for you!

Trip planning!!! Nothing better than planning future vacations….

Skool 🙂 Half way done with the current semester.

Getting back on track

I forgot to take any pics of my eats but my day started with a Gnu Banana Walnut Bar and Coffee. It was a busy day and I did not eat til late in the afternoon. I went to Chillis and had the Quesadilla Explosion Salad.

My “dessert” was a little bit of whipped banana oatmeal with some dried unsweetened coconut flakes and chopped  walnuts.

I also just wanted to put out there that QVC is going to have Vita Mix as their today special value. I purchased it a couple of months ago and its an invaluable part of my kitchen (not to mention they had an easy payment plan!!) It’s not the same model as online or @ Williams Sonoma. It’s a bit plainer BUT its the same motor and design. When I bought it was about $400 including shipping/taxes. It has a 5 yr warranty.

Good night

I have been so bad

I really don’t like the title of my post, but its the first thing that came to mind. This blog was a new year’s resolution. I hoped it would help me keep an online diary of weight loss and health accomplishments. Well it hasn’t. These past couple weeks I have been super lazy. My husband is away on training and I cannot believe my strong independent positive self has succumb to the situation.

Confession 1- I have not worked out for the last 2 weeks, nothing zilch nada. I haven’t gained any weight but I feel bloated and flabby 😦

Confession 2 – I have been eating a lot of junk. No McD or Taco Bell for me, but a lot of “healthy” take out and Chipotle Salads (my mexican lovah) Let’s face it even a takeout salad is not as healthy as homemade. The sodium content is way high and you have no control over prep. I am eating out every single day.

Confession 3 – I have not studied for BEC… This is the first part of the cpa exam I am taking in 2 weeks. I have not found the energy and I cannot postpone the test.

My days have basically been ALOT of work, a little school, a little mindless tv (jersey shore!) and sleep.

Now that I have come clean I feel I can get things going again, everyday is a new beginning!

So manana…

Work, yes its tax season!

@ least 1 meal @ home

probably will not work out… but I will on Sunday!
